Madeleine Hellmers
Madeleine Hellmers is a Toronto-based artist and graduate of York University and Sheridan College. Her work deals primarily with themes of home, story-telling, and alternate universes. She creates characters that mirror her domestic world, yet remain rooted in memories of foreign lands. She believes ardently in the collective unconscious, and is confident you will find in her worlds at least a tree, or leaf, familiar to you.
