Shelley Savor has a special interest in little moments. she likes to explore details of common people, places and things and visually embrace those moments. Capturing images from everyday life on an intimate scale, celebrating and embellishing the unsung rituals we often don’t notice. Linocuts are her chosen medium, hand coloured and printed in small editions on a small scale. In this exhibition, there will be over 80 tiny linocuts on the wall.
Shelley Savor has a BFA from York University (Toronto, 1987). For the past 20 years she has participated in many group shows as well as solo exhibitions in galleries in Toronto. |
