If the role of the artist is to internalize, process and reflect with new meaning the world around us, the One Track Hand Collective takes aim and accomplishes this with a fresh perspective.
Mirror Mirror is an illustration exhibition exploring the many facets of the alter ego. From traditional to surreal to humorous to conceptual, the ideas and styles are as varied as their creators. With artists Franzisca Barczyk, Hanna Barczyk, Kristian Bauthus, Willow Dawson, Beata Kruszynski, Tiffani Lam, John Lang, Olga Poliakov, and Emma SanCartier, Mirror Mirror presents an eclectic mix of work that will be sure to impress!
One Track Hand is a collective of professional Illustrators, Comic Book, and Portrait Artists united by a history as classmates & students of illustration at the Ontario College of Art and Design. Some of their clients include Bensimon-Byrne Advertising, Business Week Magazine, Design by Humans, Feathertale Review, Kids Can Press, Omni TV, Owl Magazine, Time Magazine, Shameless Magazine, Simply Read Books, and The Walrus. Members have been recognized by American Illustration, and The Canadian Association of Photographers and Illustrators in Communications.
