"In response to my concern about our materialized and destructive era, I concentrate on nature and -primitive- civilizations like Aztecs and Mayas. Concepts took from personal experiences based on places; cultures, history, legends, mythologies and ancestral knowledge as well as iconography are assimilated through watercolour, oil, acrylic and mixed media. These concepts represent our vulnerability and transcendental role in this world. Overlapped figures bring a 3D illusion depicting time passing and therefore, the infinite." Jesus Mora on his own work.
