Sheetalina's illustrations are part of a six piece series made upon returning to Toronto, her home city, after several years of living abroad. They are inspired by the change in Toronto over the past six years with regard to philosophy, economics and the environment.

This emerging Toronto artist's work embodies a playful twist to the tragedies of our new age. Her works are indulgent of a playful darkness that speaks of humankind with an underlying political message. Inspired by satirical children's stories, and occult tales of our ancestors, Sheetalina displays a very personal expression of innocence and wit. Currently she exhibits her illustrations in Toronto, with collaborations in public installation art relating to realpolitik.
