The artist noted,"Flipper Game" gives back a sense of balance to the aesthetic of the so-said 'vulgar' colours in a structured space, arbitrary tension between shape and colour."

Noel Fignier expends his fusion of medium and signs of fractured information. This work combines light and space in an open structure from Pop Art premises that leads us towards a new form of Urban Abstract expression tending to a new Concrete Art.

Noel Fignier recomposes the balance of abstract thought. Coloured volumes define the limits of the visual ground. Graphs are the temporal vector element for the universal language translating the new pictorial art, suggested by the Artist. This new form of Concrete Art is the natural direction of Noel Fignier's work, from abstraction back to the path of reality. Space is released again. The matter configures the thoughts and the values of the urban chaos. Noel Fignier suggests the opening of a parallel line to the quadrate of the pictorial world circle." -J.F. Dussy, Cuture Department, Paris 2006.

Born in Paris in 1948. By the turn of his 70's / 80's, Noel Fignier made an approach towards Pop Art, as Andy Warhol, Rosenquist and Indiana did. He turned away from it in order to open a new way, the New Concrete Art. As Matisse did, Noel Fignier has retreated to fight the crab. He comes back to us with a renovated energy, to be discovered in solutions.
