In the Surreality series, Yang Fei captures inexplicable dreamscapes and displaced memories in a series of oddly beautiful images. Yang Fei studied painting when he was young and had received many awards. He started to work on photography only in 2004 but has garnered a lot of attention both in China and outside. His work is presented in museums in China and published in the catalogue of "Chinese Photography from 1949 to 2006".
